On the PA Helmet Project site I have chosen to display the right side of the helmets.
The reasoning for this is the team that set the standard for different sides of a helmet,
the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since 1963, the Steelers have worn their famous logo only on the right side
of their helmets. The majority of Pennsylvania schools
wear the same design on both sides of the helmet, sometimes reversed in direction but the same
basic logo. However, there are teams that have different designs on the right and left sides of their
helmets so this is where these unique left sides will be displayed on the PA Helmet Project site.
